I love Cudas. I love Hemis. I don’t like the prices of Hemi Cudas.

It pisses me off how pricey muscle cars are. If I hadn’t gotten lucky and born into a family that already has them, I’d never be able to get into one.

They’ll drop back down, it’s something of a bubble. Guys my dad’s age who had them when they were 16 have all the money, so the cars command huge prices. Once people my age (20-30ish) are that 60ish year old generation, you’ll have less people from that group who care about them so the prices will drop on old stuff while it rises on shit like fox Mustangs and Mitsubishi Eclipses.

no, they command these prices because old white guys who wish they had one when they were 16 are driving prices sky high.
if I had “fuck you money” I’d go to Mecum or Barrett-Jackson, bid up and win one of these things, and watch all those old guys have heart attacks as I drove the car away.

Multi million dollar foxbodies??
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yep. That’s what’s been happening with cars of the 50's. All those guys are aging out, and prices are dropping.
A Hemi Cuda will ever be affordable though.

This guy has a crack pipe in every orifice. From what I’ve read (cursory look) this is a <$500k car.

If you put in a decimal point it’s waaay closer to the truth. And that car is rough.

The price of 426s makes me sad.

I almost came back to clarify that I meant prices for those cars will increase, but not like muscle cars from the 60s and 70s. A Hemi Cuda is worth what it’s worth because they built relatively few of them and when they were used up people just threw them away. Prices are coming up on nice foxes, but you’re 100% right that the prices will never get to where the 60s cars are now, just higher than they are now.

Yeah, something like that is going to continue to have rarity appeal. I’m just looking forward to lesser speced muscle car prices coming back down...I shouldn’t have to pay $20k for a basket case slant six 70 Cuda

This is correct.
